I am a graphic designer and photographer located in Fort Myers, Florida. I have always been around art in one form or another, but photography is one of my newer interests. I got my first SLR camera around the year 2000; and I am entirely self-taught. Aside from photography, I also create customized medieval calligraphy and illuminations done in pen & ink and guache.

My hometown is Shepherdstown, WV. I was raised in WV until I moved to Maryland, where I graduated high school from Smithsburg High in 1996. After graduation, I joined the U.S. Navy and served as a cryptologist. My final duty station was in Florida, and I've been here since then. After being honorably discharged from the military, I went back to college and earned the following degrees from American InterContinental University:

  • A.A. - Business Administration, with Honors

  • B.F.A. - Digital Design, Summa Cum Laude

  • M.Ed. - Instructional Technology

When I graduated from college, I went into teaching, which is still my full-time occupation. In my spare time, I like to travel, teach martial arts; and I'm an active rock and traditional Irish musician with multiple instruments.
